You’re looking for a Marketing Designer.
Here’s how I’m the right fit:
With 6 years as a marketing designer in the education space, this role aligns perfectly with my experience. I design creative, clear visuals that connect with the right audience. From social campaigns and email visuals to landing pages and printed one-pager materials, I design with both clarity and strategy in mind. I also bring experience in video editing and capturing content, which adds flexibility across my skills. I’m excited for the opportunity to bring my experience to your team.
Here’s is some work of mine that aligns with the Marketing Designer role.

What I Did: Created program flyers tailored for school principals, highlighting key program details, real student imagery, impact statistics, and pricing.
Strategic Elements: Focused on concise, decision-making-friendly layouts and incorporated positive, student-centered visuals aligned with the Salvadori brand. Ensured all information was easy to access and learn of.
Impact: Flyers, paired with targeted email campaigns, contributed to sold-out programs every fiscal year, with positive feedback that “all questions are easily answered” within the document.

Project: Grant Funding Flyers for City Council Members
What I Did: Developed tailored, on-brand flyers to pitch for grant funding from City Council Members, securing $370,000 for the 2023–2024 fiscal year.
Unique Approach: Created a custom digital map using Illustrator to outline council district boundaries and pinpoint school sites impacted by Salvadori programs. This visual strategy effectively communicated the organization's reach and impact within council districts.
Impact: Enhanced council members' understanding of Salvadori’s value, directly leading to successful funding outcomes.

AD HOC REQUEST: PROGRAM RECAPS AND SITE VISIT SUMMARY
Project: One-Pager Highlighting Program Recaps and Site Visit Summaries
What I Did:
I was asked to design a branded, two-page visual summary that captured insights from a series of site visits and listening sessions conducted by leadership. The copy was provided to me, and the goal was to organize key takeaways, priorities, and next steps in a format that felt clear, polished, and aligned with Salvadori’s brand.
Strategic Elements:
The final layout included an overview of site insights, a custom-designed NYC map highlighting the visit locations, and curated photography to support storytelling. The piece was created within a day and with minimal direction, turning an evolving draft into a fully branded internal document.
Outcome:
The document was presented during Salvadori’s internal team retreat and shared at the Board of Directors meeting in September. While I don’t have direct metrics, it served as a key visual tool to align leadership around organizational goals and priorities for the year.

A bit more about me:
I’m an upbeat, neurodivergent creative with a driven mindset and a passion for branding and design.
For me, creativity isn’t just a profession—it’s a lifeline. When I was little, and newly learning how to navigate Tourette’s Syndrome, creativity helped me cope.
Fast-forward to high-school, I found myself begging my teachers to let lead the branding and promo of school events.
Jumping to now— I work full-time as a digital marketing content designer, where I combine brand strategy, storytelling, and design to amplify the presense of things, and bring them to life.
Jessica is a wonderful creative partner. As Salvadori's Social Media & Content Designer, she not only executed the creative ideas of the team, she did it in ways that enhanced the concepts, highlighted the key components, and captured the very heart of our mission. Even better, she would pose alternate ideas that accomplished our goals in ways we didn't imagine.
She is an excellent partner, leader, creative problem solver, and thoughtful risk taker.
Kind words and feedback from those I’ve worked with:
Kenn Jones, Former Executive Director of Salvadori Center
Jessica is a very hardworking, determined professional who excels at all tasks thrown her way. Jessica’s passion for her work has helped to completely transform our companies marketing and advertising campaign. Her creativity, attention to detail, ability to take feedback and implement feedback has improved our brand ten-fold and has made us easily recognizable by the constituents that we work with.
Malika Khalsa, Deputy Director of Salvadori Center
Jessica is an integral part of our team, designing and producing all marketing materials. Jessica consistently delivers high-quality, eye-catching designs that are lauded by Board Members, clients, and partners. In fact, when we hired a lobbyist, our account manager asked who produced our marketing collateral. He was shocked to learn that it was one member of our team – he had expected me to say it was a major marketing firm.
